The warehouse Simone Keijzer walks into was formerly used for processing vegetables from a horticultural company. Now it contains large racks filled with cameras, small mechanical parts, tools and a number of large machines. At first glance, there is a conveyor belt with a frame around it, but what is hidden under that frame is precisely what Gearbox has developed: eyes and antennae that count, look for damage and other abnormalities, and thus assess whether cucumbers, tomatoes, flower bulbs or peppers meet the set requirements.
