What is the Hillenraad100?
The Hillenraad100 comprises the annual ranking of the hundred leading companies in the knowledge- and capital-intensive (glass) horticulture cluster. The list provides an overview of the entire cluster, divided into seven segments. Since 2003, the Hillenraad100 has been the benchmark for developments in the Dutch horticultural business. The Hillenraad100 identifies, interprets and looks ahead.
Only 1 per cent of companies in the Dutch horticultural cluster make it into the Hillenraad100. A listing in the index is recognition of leading entrepreneurship. The selected companies demonstrate vision, daring and entrepreneurship and are a beacon for the cluster. The announcement of the new listings is an important 'measurement moment' in the horticultural cluster.
The Hillenraad100 research team analyses the performance of companies based on a unique, proprietary business model that is continuously updated. We identify key trends for the future and assess how companies are responding to them. We are assisted in this by an expert committee.
